Join us for a special fermented foods workshop with Prescription Foods, a Pittsburgh-based social-purpose company dedicated to crafting high-quality, traditionally fermented foods and educating the public about the benefits of a gut-healthy diet.
Founded in 2015, Prescription Foods draws on family recipes and years of fermentation expertise to create raw, vegan, gluten-free products made without added sugar, preservatives, or vinegar. During this interactive session, you’ll learn how naturally fermented foods are made, why they’ve been valued across cultures for centuries, and how they may support a balanced diet and overall wellness.
The team will also guide participants through the science and tradition behind fermentation—highlighting the role of beneficial bacteria in food and health—while offering samples of their signature products so you can experience the depth of flavor that only true fermentation can produce.
